if there's one thing i hate doing - it has to be to wait.
i dont mean waiting for someone who's late or waiting for my turn in a queue; i mean waiting indefinitely.

for example, i hate waiting for an sms/a call.. because i dont even know if ultimately, it would come at all.
sigh. i really dont like this feeling.

it's Day 4, the clubbing night.

project meeting in the morning, paying attention in class and dinner with linhui managed to keep my mind occupied for awhile, so i managed to get by today quite easily..

my classmates are planning a 4-day trip to KL during our 2-week semester break in august.
im rather keen, but im not very close to them yet.. and im not sure if my "clique" wants to go.
hmmmmmmmm. KIV!

心里觉得空空的、日常生活中也好像缺了什么…

但是我又能怎么办呢？ =(






in october 2006, i said this:

"right now, my dad's 47 and my mum's 45.
in 4 years' time, i want my parents to smile proudly and stand tall in the graduation hall because of me.
i want to have saved enough money so i can bring them for my graduation trip, to tour around Europe."


now (almost 2 years later):

- my parents are getting older
- i'm no longer in N*U and will not graduate wearing a robe for the convocation ceremony held in a grand hall
- am not any wiser
- have less than $300 in my posb savings account.


sigh.







no phone call tonight. =(


thank goodness there's no lesson for me tomorrow because i could barely keep my focus in class for more than 10 seconds in class today.
my concentration level was zilch; my mind kept drifting in and out of the classroom...

sigh 3 more days to go...

oh no.. i just watched the camp "teasers" and i dont like the premise of it at all. =(

haha but i dont like the idea of being a "niam ti ti" girlfriend either so i shall be magnanimous and smile first...

my brother is backkkkk - without krispy kremes.
he claims that he couldnt find the outlet in the airport. sighh but its okay!
donuts are all sugar anyway so it's actually doing me good. hahhaha

auntie carmen left for manila this morning.. i guess i havent completely digested the fact that she's not in singapore anymore because it still feels as though she's merely having an off-day.
pinky spent the whole day lying in front of the door btw, and it pains me to see her behaving this way..

anyway! on a lighter note, i accompanied my friend to the MANGO sale at centrepoint during lesson break today and i managed to grab really good deals!!
i got a pair of tailor-cut berms for $27 + 1 formal long pants for my class presentation next week ($32 only!!!) and the material is SUPERB.
something between satin and cotton - instead of the slinky, thin-like-paper material i hate mango for. LOL! so happy!

kungfu panda + CottonOn this saturday with ray - hope the movie is really good like what everyone is saying!

i still havent watched Sex & The City. =(

and i am sooo looking forward to huikeng's birthday party!
although this time, huikeng will be too busy to sit and chat with us but IT'S OKAY because we can do what we do best - SELF-ENTERTAIN. hahaha! =D

When it rains, it pours.

my brother is coming back this wednesday night, but auntie carmen is returning to the philippines on friday due to health reasons.
it was a very rushed decision, but we have no choice because she needs to go through an operation asap.
sigh it'll be probably a good 6 months before she returns.. we're so very worried for pinky. =(

and im really close with my maid too, it's gonna be so different having to sleep alone.
i wonder if i'll get used to it.. hmmm.

huiyu's birthday party on saturday was really special!
we had a lot of fun chatting amidst the extremely loud music, and the guys were such good sport that night.
i was telling huikeng (or is it peiling?) that we seem to be getting closer as compared to our JC times, where we used to hang out in cliques and didnt talk much with each other unless necessary. lol!

btw, i'll upload the pictures on my cam in the next update ok? cos i havent got down to resizing them one by one yet. heh

on the way home, we talked about a possible class chalet at the end of this year.. and our conversation drifted to The NSFs (Serve and Forget) and The Regulars(signed-on)! hahaha!
hope we'll work something out for the class chalet this time, it's been 2 years since we had one! =D

ray is going for nus fass camp next week! boo.

hahaha i know i said goodbye, but well IM BACK!!
i've decided to revive my blog for 2 reasons:

1) i am enlightened.
2) i am inspired.

initially, the main reason i decided to quit blogging was because i didnt want to reveal too much about myself anymore. funny, but true.
im not too sure what came over me for the past few weeks, but it felt like i was sinking deeper and deeper into.. sadness.
i felt infinitely inferior to everything, yet i couldnt stop comparing.

but today, a "long-lost" friend msged me on msn randomly and we started chatting.
we didnt talk about anything personal, but somehow i felt enlightened.
i realised that all these while, i've been feeling so shitty because i have sidetracked from my ultimate goal in life, and have been bogged down by useless details.

i shant go too much into what happened and all, but the gist of it is: I'M BACK - NOT BIGGER, BUT BETTER!!

thank you xuemin, although you're probably clueless about everything. haha!
and of course, thank you dear for standing by me. =)

i need lots of energy and resilience and enthusiasm to get past this week.

may i cram 5 chapters of strategic marketing into my brain effectively within the next 3 days, and find the willpower to wake up at 8.30am everyday so i can make full use of time.

oo and may i have determination strong enough to fight the urge of putting something into my mouth every 2-3 hours! hahhaha

quiz on friday afternoon. oh goshh
thankfully, im meeting my favourite girlies from pjc after school for dinner on friday!

something im very much looking forward to. =)
