hahaha coincidentally, im always blogging around 2am!

im going off to a 4D3N chalet tmr!
it's my brother's farewell party and i think it's gonna be a huggggeee one.
because he's always been well-liked by BOTH my paternal and maternal relatives!
dont ask me why because i dont know.

well the chalet is gonna be a bungalow near changi village and it looks quite scary at night because its at the end of the road and rather isolated i think.
but all will be good because my sunshine is gonna be there.
now you know why im so excited! hahhahahahaha =)

watched TRANSFORMERS this afternoon and i really loved it!
it's sooooo cool; though it didnt really stir up any childhood memories within me because i hated robot cartoons when i was younger.
i loved popeye and animaniacs and.. i think its little lulu?
anyway, the movie is GOOD!

the effects, the storyline and all.. something fresh for me, since i dont usually watch sci-fi stuff.
but i think the intriguing factor of the movie is its realism... throughout the movie i was thinking to myself "OMG THIS COULD HAPPEN."
okay lah maybe i was just overreacting. lol

well there's a part where one of the Good Robot's 'dua tao' said something like, 'the human species are still young. they have a lot to learn.'
geee i thought that was meaningful...

ohyes, because i love the movie so much - im gonna name my car after one of the robots, BumbleBee. hohoohoho!
but lh says the car looks nothing like one =(

oooo and lh's attending the NDP preview next saturday. im damnnnn envious can! the last time i watched NDP live was when i was P5. and she's gonna attend the very first NDP at the new 'floating platform'! cooooool.
actually i can skip the whole parade lah, i just want to watch the fireworks display!
hmm i hope ray's available next sat so we can go squeeze with the rest of singapore for a good spot to watch fireworks! weeeeeeee!

i've got biz stats paper on wednesday afternoon and its 2am now. i really should be sleeping but damn my mind's somewhere else. again!

wanted to sms him something really sweet earlier on but i couldnt come up with anything original and meaningful so i tried to cheat abit and browsed my bookshelf for a little help. then i spotted the tiny notebook which i used to write my poems in (yes i wrote poems. haha!) back in secondary school and i read through them. gosh they're so funny! just last week lh mentioned that "people see things differently as they age"; i didnt give it much thought at that point of time, but now that i've realised her words rang true they're occupying my thoughts most of the time im almost obsessed with the idea hahah. so anyway, after reading those 'poems' i got reminded of other stuffs i used to write during my sec school days and switched on my com to read them. i found more than what i remember and boy, i couldnt believe i used to write like that. there were entries of my previous blog, some random posts on a website that supposedly hosts fan fictions (where you write stories about your idols) etc etc. i think im losing my touch. it seems to me that i used to write more fluently and with (abit more) depth even if it was just an ordinary 'just another day' blog entry. but now im sticking to simple words and short sentences - im almost ashamed of myself. of course there's nothing wrong with simplicity in words as long as it carries the message across but i've always loved Languages for its beauty and i admire people who have the flair for it, often wishing im gifted with the talent too. and as i've learnt from Brain Age - a game on Nintendo DS that trains the brain to work better, the brain deteriorates when its not put to full use. no wonder i feel incompetent when i read blog entries that are composed and structured nicely...

ohmy i seem to be blogging quite a bit on stuff that concerns age recently.
maybe its because my group of friends in kaplan consist of 16-18 yr olds.. haha i feel so old despite not even hitting 20 officially yet! but im proud to be able to think further and see beyond what THEY see!

so yes, after my biz stats paper on wed im gonna indulge in books and attempt to improve my language ability and widen my knowledge! i must be able to think, see and behave like how a mature 20 year old should. hohoho

3 days ago, my sunshine asked me why is there a need to travel now? why cant we, or rather i, since the question was directed at me, wait till im older and financially-independent?
well you see, i think it's all about age.
i want to see the world when im young, vibrant and bursting with positivity.
when i've yet to experience enough of the world and is able to absorb more.

not when innocence and naivety are replaced with disenchantment and apathy.
not when im jaded, or holding too many responsibilities on my shoulders to be able to breathe easy when im abroad.

because travelling is my passion and all im working towards in life is to be able to see, hear and touch the world out there personally
- not through books, pictures or documentaries. =)

i have a dream, a song to sing
to help me cope with anything.
If you see the wonder of a fairytale
You can take the future, even if you fail

sidenote: it's my brother's farewell chalet this friday-monday! and he informed my mum just now that it's only 3 more weeks to his departure so she can start crying already. hahahahahaha

life sure is gonna be different.

i've heard people saying that as we grow older, our number of friends dwindles.

maybe its because as we grow older, we
see too much negativity in the world that we refuse to trust new people.
or maybe its simply because we get too lazy to open up to someone new.
or maybe, its all because we're so contented with the bosom buddies we have in our hearts that we dont want to risk having their places taken over...

hahaha i dont know if im making much sense lah.
just got very emo suddenly after viewing friendster!
but im too lazy to string my thoughts into proper sentences so i'll just keep them in my heart okay. but my main point is I LOVE MY GIRLFRIENDS!. (and boyfriend too) hahahha :P

ooo and hy, hk, lh and i sang at partyworld for 4hrs straight just now! we didnt even get to finish our song list. haha! we were so tired towards the end but couldnt stop hogging the mikes and the scary thing is, we just patronised partyworld last friday! LOL

cheers to old friends - my loves!

omg exam next week.

there are so many things i wish you'd understand but you probably can't.
No, it's not that i think you
wont try, but it's because i don't tell.

you see, there's a difference in the methods we use to tackle problems - you prefer to thrash it out calmly, but for me, it's either i get into a heated argument (and most of the time, still dont settle the problem because you know my problem when it comes to face-to-face) OR i would keep to myself entirely.

reason being, i feel frustrated when the other party doesnt understand what's going on (in my mind) - so i dont speak at all.
to me, the moment i let the words slip out of my mouth, the problem becomes real. then it creates another problem of having to solve it.

but it's different if i keep it to myself.

you see, the problem affects only me and after im through mulling over it, it disappears.

besides, you're cooped up in that bunk with 10+ other men about 5 days a week; sleep is precious to you because you need to work hard during the day and i know you tend to make mistakes once you're distracted.
so i dont see the point in making you stay up through the night to listen to my woes and then having you worry if i'll be fine when there's really nothing you can do...

i'd tell you everything if you were standing right before me because we always misunderstand each other through sms while on the phone, our sighs just dont help at all.

do you understand now, my dear?

havent been in my best condition for the past 2 days..
my head feels heavy, but it's not exactly a headache
hmm it feels like.. the after-effect of taking a 1 hour jerky bus ride when the bus is packed and the air is thin and stale?
a heavy head makes me so sleepy and restless.

woooo and my mum's addicted to my NDS!
there's this Animal Crossing game.. something like The Sims i think, but your neighbours are animals in a town!
and it follows real time 24hours - you get to fish in the river, catch bugs, pick seashells, shake trees and sell fruits, buy furniture and decorate your house etc.
very very cute and my mum cant stop fishing!
with her almighty rod she's very proud of her catches...

hahahaha anyway my main point is that i've finally persuaded her to buy ANOTHER nds, so that we can connect to each other via Wi-Fi and VISIT EACH OTHER'S TOWN!
so we can shake each other's trees and fish in each other's river/ocean etc etc.
hohohohoho now THAT'S SOMETHING PSP CAN'T DO! =D

go nds GO!!!

oh and im trying to get her to buy the pink one so she can have my white one so i'll have a BRAND NEW + PINK one!
but she's insistent on getting a black one leh.

yay im meeting the girls tomoro!
but my dad brought the digicam to india to snap pics of metal sheets =S
so i'll make do with lh's pretty and cy's power cam-phones! hohoho

7months. =)
