dreams do come true!
materialistic as i may be, but it makes me a happy girl! hohhoho
life's been good to me.
ahh good is an understatement, lets say SWEET.
my family
my pals
my education journey
my health
my body (nevermind short, fat and tanned - things could've been worse i guess)
my life
my love.
and now, my IT.
i must say,
it's a semi-charmed kind of life!
i must've done trillions of good deeds in my last life.
i need to do more this time!
thank you, to the powers above.
i now know how bliss smells like.
and it sure smells sweeeeeet
and sooooooooo..

LOVE in psychedelic colours!
not very impressive i guess but considering i woke up way early on a schoolday to prepare this, i think my effort deserves some recognition!
so its up here. hehh
my face always looks damn BROAD when i take pictures with this guy.so we dont have a lot of pictures for collection cos i'd delete them immediately after taking.

ohh and despite my purposeful reminder,
mr ong FORGOT to write me a card.
when i love receiving cards!
(i think it adds a whole lot more meaning to a gift..)
but apparently ns saved his life cos he claimed there was insufficient time to get one.
grrrr
well i didnt receive flowers, chocolates or anything spectacular
i received a pair of angels!
sincerity more than made up for it.
and for the first time in my life,
i feel that the love i've been searching for
and which has been evading me all these while,
is finally here to stay. =)

aiyuhhhhhh.
my creative bone is failing me this time.
used to have lotsa junk ideas during vday period - just that i lacked a boyfriend previously.
now that i HAVE a boyfriend, the feasible ideas left me, the rest seems too childish/pointless/stupid.
and i had a grace period of an additional 2 days some more!
but i was changing my mind constantly all the way up till yesterday and for a moment, there were some last minute glitches that almost made me faint under the blistering heat. (which reminds me - singapore's weather is CRAZY these days! SUNrainSUNrain omg)
when i finally made up my mind in the middle of last night and went to sleep, i woke up today feeling not good about it again.
got my mum to help, but i still think everything when put together isnt impressive leh!
if im at the receiving end, think my jaw will probably drop - not because of surprise, but disappointment. =(
oh shit what a terrible gf i am.

went cny shopping with my parents just now and i realise i HATE/ABHOR/DETEST/DESPISE :
1) drivers who fail to signal before making their turns
2) people who pinch/squeeze/press fruits while choosing and then THROWING aside those they dont want (please leh, after you choose your pathetic 10 oranges, the rest of them are probably rotten)
3) people who crowd around and stare at a man who felt faint, lost his balance and IS lying on the floor
4) obasans who choose/pick their buys as if the market caters for them solely (you think the market closes after you buy those miserable few cents worth of veggies isit? stop ripping veggies apart!)
and this is irrelevant, but i really can't stand people who play their music on their handphones out loud in public places.
if you can't stand quietness, invest in a pair of earphones and stick it into your ears then blast the music however loud you want. nobody would care if you turn partially deaf or something. what the hell do you think earphones are invented for? there ARE people on the bus who had a bloody long day and really would appreciate a peaceful bus ride instead of listening to your crappy music. (which you most prob downloaded anyway.)
oh and there're those who LOVE sitting on the outer seat on buses. maybe they feel insecure sitting inside or find it inconvenient, but its ridiculous when they refuse to shift and let people in. especially when the bus is packed - they'd look out the window as if it's snowing money or even PRETEND to sleep. why, you got invisible friend isit?

Happyhappy Vday to all!
it's the season of love. *winks at lh wong*
Time flies!
Last time this day I remember receiving a bouquet of beautiful pink tulips! lol
Its the first time i had flowers delivered to my home..
not all girls love flowers, but i'd say all girls love receiving flowers!
unless they're allergic or something? haha
anywayyy.
i didnt have a date on this day again, same as last year!
and so i went all out to get myself a date - a 49year old date!
who says old men lost their value... they have spending power leh!
lol and so, my date for tonight is (un)tall, dark and handsome - Mr. Andrew Yeo!
and it was a buy-one-get-one-free thing, so we have the company of Mrs. Yeo too.
hehhehhehe so funky to go on date with parents on vday right!
weeeee and we're looking for some place romantic with lesser crowds cos my old man dont really like crowds... we're considering boat quay!
old men really have the abilities to splurge and indulge right. haha!
p/s actually a hot babe tanchinY asked me out la, but im too guilty to leave my parents at home, knowing they wont go out if i dont ask them out! SORRY chinny! hope you guys have a great time =)
it seems to me the supposed celebration of love during this season is becoming more like an opportunity for retailers to rejoice.
prices of flowers rises skyhigh, restaurants come up with "couple" meals that arent cheap, chocolates candies and bears are strewn everywhere too.
consumerism at its peak!

ohhh and i read Alice in Wonderland.
i believe everyone is familiar with the storyline, but come to think of it, i think i've never actually gotten down to reading the book in detail.
and its impressive how a 'fairytale' recommended for 'children' actually carries so many well-hidden phiosophical ideas. hehh
