yesterday was supposed to be a terrific day, but it had to come to an end in a lousy way.07.07.07. maxwell hawker centre. red dot design museum. ray's $1 throws. candy floss. esplanade. chit-chat. ndp preview! failed attempts at couplecouple shots. my family. fireworks! hk cafe. peeps at kissy couple beside me. die-hard 4. (awesome movie!)after the movie i checked the pocket of my bag where i kept my phone and it was empty. i panicked, thinking i'd dropped my phone somewhere cos i couldnt recall placing it back. and then i found that it was inside the larger compartment of my bag.but i realised my ez-link card was in that same compartment too. searched my bag thoroughly and couldnt find it.spent the next 50minutes running around marina square with ray, asked people if they've seen my card and no, nobody saw it.i sobbed in his arms and a million "should-haves" ran through my mind - i should have put it back into my wallet, should have not put it in the same compartment as my phone, should have looked out when i took my phone out of my bag... but it was no use.okay lah i sound like im over-exaggerating because it IS only a card, but im behaving this way because it is a card that bears the logo of NTU and so i cannot get it replaced anymore..by the way the service at marina square's hk cafe is terrible! do patronise the one at orchard cineleisure instead! its much better! hehhmm shall upload the ndp preview tickets another time.school's starting tmr! weeee
